In light of the growing uncertainty around COVID-19 and the current state of lockdown, I wanted to update you on things at You Make It.

While our core 6 month long empowerment programme must now be put on hold until further notice, we're reaching out to current and potential users to find out what interim online support can help them in this time of crisis.

We're really happy that so many funders have pledged a flexible approach with grantee organisations so that we can respond to some of the most pressing needs amongst our communities. Over the coming weeks we look forward to discussing with them new ways of delivering services and keeping you updated.

In terms of our team, we're all busy as ever but of course now working remotely. I'm right where I was when I set You Make It up in 2009...back at my kitchen table!

With best wishes and please take care,

I think YMI is a great opportunity for young women, I encourage as many young unemployed women to get involved and as many corporate organisations to back our cause to help the charity grow!
