Brand Partnerships Manager (Part-time, 4 days a week)

Drive impact through brand & business development for social change.

Are you a dynamic sales and business development professional eager to leverage your expertise with lead generation, sales pipeline development and closing deals to create social change? 

Then join You Make It, an award-winning East London charity empowering young working-class, racialised women since 2011. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to ensure genuine, tangible change by building vital partnerships with forward-thinking brands like Nike Jordan (just one of our valued investors over the last 2 years) to transform the life chances of the women our charity exists to support. 

You’ll work closely with our Founder CEO, driving both financial growth, AND direct support for our programme participants through mentorships and work experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Forge Impactful Partnerships: Generate and manage new and existing brand/ employer collaborations to secure revenue and support for our programmes.
  • Recruit Mentors: Drive the recruitment of 75 mentors annually across three programmes via brand/ employer partnerships.
  • Create Work Experiences: Partner with employers to design structured group work placements for our programme participants.
  • Innovate for Good: Design and implement viable ideas to generate new, sustainable income streams.
  • Stewardship & Reporting: Maintain partnership records and relationships, producing progress reports to investors.
  • Ambassador for Change: Represent You Make It at meetings and events to expand our partner base.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven Partnership Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading successful, long-term charity-business partnerships.
  • Results-Driven Background: A strong sales/ business development track record, raising a minimum of £80k in annual income.
  • Pitching Prowess: Proven experience creating and delivering compelling and intelligent pitches to multiple partners.
  • Exceptional Relationship Management: Outstanding people and communication skills; you’re highly persuasive.
  • Organised & Proactive: Highly organised, thrives in a small, agile team, and takes initiative.
  • Target-Oriented: Used to meeting revenue based KPIs.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM, CANVA, and other relevant presentation tools.
  • CSR Understanding: Awareness and understanding of corporate social responsibility.

Details

  • Contract: 1-year contract, subject to extension.
  • Salary: £30,400 (FTE £38k) for a 4 day week (32 hours including lunch breaks) plus 5.25% staff pension (subject to employee contribution of 1.75%) after a 3-month probationary period.

*We are also open to discussion about a commission structure for the right candidate.
